PARTICIPATION DOCUMENTS

The Port Authority originally presented its mitigation solution program at a meeting held March 10, 2010, at the Bay Area Community Center. Application documents were then sent to each property owner in the program area (as reported by the Harris County Appraisal District) in the next week. To apply for participation in the Port Authority’s mitigation solution, property owners submitted a completed program application to the Port Authority within 60 days of receipt of the information packet.

Applications were processed in the order in which they were received. Applications were date-stamped upon receipt to guide the process.

On September 27, 2011, the Port Commission approved the re-opening of the Mitigation Solution Program to those eligible property owners within the eligible boundary that have not, yet, applied for the program.

Those property owners that are interested in applying for the program must provide a completed Application to the Port Authority. Applications are processed in the order in which they are received. Applications will be date-stamped on receipt to guide the process.
